CPA Election 2007 - 2008:
Dear CPA Executive, chapter chairpersons and membership,
It’s that time of the year again for CPA elections. The deadline for nominations is June 20th 2008.
Please type in your (Y) or (N) check mark; please read the short bios (on website) so you know a little about the candidates. If you have any questions
please email your CPA Secretary info@canadianpoetryassoc.com.
Voting starts June 20th 2008 --Deadline for voting is August 10th 2008. Results will be read one (1) week before the CPA AGM August 25th 2008.
All email and mail in votes will be tabulated and a copy added to the Archives.
Remember you have to get written permission to nominate a CPA member for any Board Position. Also you must supply a short bio, photo and
written permission (hand signed). Once all nominations are finalized the list will be sent to all CPA members to vote on..

have agreed upon. Candidates MUST have a background in marketing / and or fund raising and be bonded. Please forward your resume to be reviewed by
the CPA Executive and coordinators. Candidate(s) will be voted upon at AGM for this open position.

Volunteers needed to form CPA Education Committee (commitment per month 10 hrs or more). You will work
closely with the CPA Secretary, National Coordinator and Media Coordinator. This committee will promote the CPA AIMS and serve as an out reach
for schools, libraries etc, and working closely with the Media Coordinator for all special events and media communications. A marketing coordinator
(team) position will be established from this committee at a later date. Once enough volunteers are selected this new committee position will be
presented to the CPA Executive and discussed before the AGM and all email's on the discussion will be presented at the AGM for final decision and
vote, if necessary, on establishing this committee.
Please take this opportunity to promote Canadian poetry – all the best to those who step forward!
